The new sports bar at Friendship Village Tempe has everything you’d expect to find – flat screens, team décor, billiards, beers and passionate fans. Executive Director Cole Marvin says it’s just one more amenity that sets Friendship Village apart.
“If we can combine the feeling of home with the highest level of hospitality, we’re serving our residents in the right way,” he said. “Who wouldn’t want a place to watch or play games with friends and, if they so choose, have a drink or two?”
The sports bar has been a popular addition among current residents, and is an added feature for those currently considering moving to the community.
“We pride ourselves on being a place that has something for everyone,” said Marvin. “It’s only fitting that we’ve added the sports bar to the already wide variety of options we offer retirees.”
